Cassandra currently serves as Vice President, ESG, for Dell Technologies, overseeing the teams and activities leading global sustainability, ESG strategy and operations, and Dell’s giving and social innovation programs. Dell’s Progress Made Real program and 2030 targets, featuring ambitious moonshot goals, is organized by 4 pillars: advancing sustainability, cultivating inclusion, transforming lives, and upholding ethics and privacy. Cassandra and her teams are responsible for holistic advancement of the overall program, as well as formal leadership and execution of advancing sustainability and transforming lives.
Prior to joining Dell, Cassandra served as VP, Sustainability & ESG, for McKesson, a large healthcare services company. Cassandra established the company’s first-ever Sustainability & ESG department, where she and her team led enterprise-wide strategy, program development, reporting & disclosure and stakeholder engagement. They developed and launched Care360™, the company’s signature program for addressing access to healthcare, equity in healthcare, and climate change for human health. Cassandra served as ESG ambassador for the company’s robust shareholder engagement program, standing representative to the Board of Directors on Sustainability & ESG, and internal & external spokesperson on social and environmental topics.
As Global Sustainability Leader at 3M, she and her team led strategy, product integration, goal setting, data analytics, brand building, partnerships, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. At the Coca-Cola Company, Cassandra led global sustainability and integrated reporting. She started her career in a leadership development program at General Electric and spent 10 years in a variety of communications and marketing roles. She earned her B.A. degree in Advertising & Public Relations from the University of Southern Indiana. She currently serves as a volunteer for Junior Achievement, and on the Advisory Council for the Foundation for Hospital Art.
Cassandra lives in Woodbury, MN, USA, with her husband, Lute, and three children. She enjoys everyday adventures and trying new things with her family – exploring nature, road trips, gaming, weightlifting, table tennis, actively supporting her kids’ school & extracurricular activities, and working toward a greater good. She’s a big fan of Anne Frank’s quote, “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.”
